Presenter Guidelines
Please review the guidelines for poster and oral sessions below.
Registration
All presenters must be registered as an attendee for the MMiN 2024 Conference. If you have not yet registered, please do so by registering online
Poster Guidelines
There are two poster sessions, kindly take note of your poster session (P1 and P2). If you do not know your poster number, please check here, and note the set up/tear down times below. Please note, poster presenters are not required to stand at their poster during the morning break or lunch, but it is encouraged to have your poster up and be available should someone wish to discuss prior to the scheduled poster session.
Recommended poster information includes:
- Keep text to a minimum
- Ensure text is in large font
- Use graphs, charts and/or tables
- Ensure contents have a logical flow
- Make it colourful
Poster size:
The maximum size for your poster is x48 inches wide, and x36 inches high (landscape), Push pins will be provided for you to adhere the poster to the board.
*Removal of posters at the end of the display period is the responsibility of the author(s). Posters not removed by the deadline will be removed and disposed of by meeting staff. Please note that the posters will be held at the registration desk until the end of the conference after which time they will be recycled.

Symposium Guidelines
Each symposium is either 90 minutes or 120 minutes in length, including time for Questions and Answers. Kindly ensure that there is ample time for audience participation and discussion during the scheduled symposium time.
Slide deck template: you are welcome to download and use the MMiN 2024 ppt slide (16:9)
The meeting room will be equipped with:
- Projector and screen (please use 16:9 slide ratio)
- Lectern microphone
- Laser pointer and slide advancer
- HDMI cable (please make sure you have the correct cable for your laptop – some newer laptops require USB C connections)
You will be required to use your own laptop to connect to the LCD projector. Please note, HDMI cables will be provided. If you use a MAC or have a different connection, please provide your own adapters/dongles. You are able to test your laptop during the morning break and lunchtime period.
For ease of transition time, presenters may choose to load presentations to one laptop. Please note this is not required.
Please test your presentation in advance to ensure that all slides/images/videos are working properly.
